Are you living your best life? Do you want to realize more organization or less stress in your life? Are you stuck - and just need new perspective and some tools to get moving in the right direction? Personal life coaching is a unique process where you set a specific agenda with your coach. Your agenda may be to write a book, switch careers, organize your house, become a better spouse, prepare for a big change in your life ... really it can be anything. There are times in life when we have everything - a good job, strong relationships, family, etc. But we still feel stuck. So the agenda in that case may just be to figure out why you are stuck and do something about it. When you enlist the aid of a coach we use the latest skills and techniques, and assessments to help you realize and leverage your strengths to move your life in the direction you want. Your coach also helps you stay accountable to yourself and objectives.
Some of my past clients have used life coaching to:
organize their time and resources better
create more work-life balance in their lives
reinvent their image
have more fulfilling relationships
become a better spouse or partner
overcome a significant life hurdle - complete the bar exam, write a book
My Life Coaching Model
The best way to describe my coaching model is client-centric and strengths based. In life coaching, the client's agenda is paramount and provides the road map for both the client and the coach. It's the coaches responsibility to help the client achieve their outcome by staying true to the client's agenda. In all interactions, my client comes first - in my coaching model, the client is in charge, I am simply their coach.
We all have character strengths that we depend on and use everyday, but often we loose sight of them and at times we may neglect or overly depend on some strengths. Once we have a firm grasp of our resources, we can then start to leverage them to our advantage. Therefore, my coaching model is strengths based and the onset of the coaching relationship includes and assessment and analysis of the client's character strengths and client centric.
